Spain’s football club Barcelona is planning to look for promising young soccer players in South Korea.

FC Barcelona announced a blueprint Monday to nurture South Korea as an Asian hub for its marketing and to find prospective athletes.

As part of the plan, it will work in cooperation with a South Korean business to establish a youth soccer club and run a class for talented players.

Through the joint project, South Korea will have opportunities to learn advanced soccer techniques from the Spanish football club, and as a result, solidify its foundation and standing in the sport.
