Temps to Fluctuate in Late September

Fluctuating temperatures and heavy rains are expected to affect the southern regions of the nation later this month.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said on Wednesday that a cold continental high pressure front and a warm high pressure front will take turns moving across the Korean Peninsula in late September.

The agency has forecast frequent rain in the south later this month and the same for the central region early next month.

The weather agency says temperatures will be lower than average in mid-October and the first frost and ice will hit the inlands and mountainous areas around this time.
