South Korean Golfer Yang Hee-young or Amy Yang finished second in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.

In the final round of the tournament in Rogers, Arkansas on Sunday, Yang tied defending champion and world No. 1 Yani Tseng of Taiwan at 12 under par but was defeated in the playoff.

Yang missed a 4-foot birdie putt on the 18th and Tseng followed by sinking her birdie chance from the same distance, marking her second win in Arkansas.

The South Korean remained in the lead for most of the final round, but she missed several birdie opportunities down the stretch and ultimately let her shot at an LPGA tour victory slip away.

A Yang victory would have marked South Korea's 100th win on the U.S. LPGA tour.
