Russia's Olga Kaniskina has won the women's 20-kilometer race walk for her third straight title at the World Championships in Athletics under way in Daegu.

In the final race on Wednesday, she crossed the line in one hour, 29 minutes and 42 seconds. China's Liu Hong was 18 seconds behind and took the silver. Russian Anisya Kirdyapkina came in third.

South Korea's Jeon Yong-eun placed 26th with her best time of the season at one hour, 35 minutes, and 52 seconds.
