The nation’s weather service has predicted frequent rains and high temperature next month.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said Tuesday that through early next month the nation will fall under the periphery of the muddy North Pacific high pressure front that will produce frequent torrential downpours.

Temperatures are also expected to be higher in early and late September compared to past years.

The weather agency also said that South Korea will be affected by one or two more typhoons next month.
