Usain Bolt in Korea for World Championships

Olympic sprint gold medalist Usain Bolt arrived in Korea on Tuesday afternoon to compete in the 2011 IAAF World Championships, which is set to open on August 27th.

The Jamaican sprinter will take a domestic flight to Daegu, scheduled to arrive at around 8 p.m. He will begin his training at Gyeongsan Stadium in the city from Wednesday.

Bolt, who will compete in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 relay events, aims to win three gold medals at the championships.

The world record holder in the men’s 100 meters and 200 meters won three gold medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the previous world championships in 2009 in Berlin.
