South Korean soccer star Park Ji-sung has renewed his contract with the professional British soccer team Manchester United for one more year.

Manchester United announced on Friday that it had extended its contract with Park for the 2012-2013 season.

Park, whose current contract is set to expire in June of next year, said he has enjoyed every minute of his time with United and added that he is looking forward to doing his part in keeping the team at the top of its game.

The South Korean soccer player has been successful in two recent pre-season matches in the U.S., scoring two goals and making one assist.
