Nation Expected to See Frequent Rains in August

The nation’s weather service is predicting frequent torrential rains to soak South Korea through the end of the month.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) forecast that due to unstable atmospheric conditions, the nation will see plenty of rain through late August amid steamy weather.

The KMA said the hot temperatures will continue into September and raise the mercury higher than in previous years, since the high atmospheric pressure from the North Pacific is maintaining its strength.
