The central region is expected to see heavy rain on Friday and Saturday.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast that 60 to 120 millimeters of rain will shower Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and the western parts of the Daegwallyeong mountain pass in Gangwon Province through Saturday. The weather agency said some parts are expected to see more than 200 millimeters of rain in the next two days.

The Chungcheong provinces and southern regions won’t get hit quite as hard. The weather agency has projected rainfall of ten to 100 millimeters in those areas.

The agency expects a heavy rain advisory to be issued for the northern parts of Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces on Friday night.
