The city of Daegu is eagerly waiting to host the 2011 IAAF World Championships with only 29 days remaining until the opening ceremony.

Roughly two-thousand-400 athletes from 207 countries will be competing in the track and field meet, including three time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, who is known as the fastest man in the world.

The athletic event's organizing committee has expressed confidence over the quality of its sports fields, accommodations and volunteers.

The international games will open on August 27th for a nine-day run.
