S.Korea’s Park Finishes 4th in Men’s 200m Freestyle at World Championship

South Korea's marine boy Park Tae-hwan narrowly missed a bronze medal on Tuesday for the men's 200-meter freestyle at the 2011 FINA World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai.

The Beijing Olympic champion clocked one minute 44-point-92 seconds to come in fourth after Ryan Lochte of the United States, who placed in at first with one-minute 44-point-44 seconds. Swimming heavyweight Michael Phelps clocked in at one-minute 44-point-79 seconds for the silver. World record holder Paul Biedermann of Germany took home the bronze with a time of one-minute-44-point-88 seconds.

Park finished fourth in the semifinals at the Oriental Sports Center on Monday.
