South Korean soccer star Park Ji-sung is likely to renew his contract with the U.K. professional soccer team Manchester United for another two years.

Coach Sir Alex Ferguson recently said at a news conference ahead of a friendly match with Chicago Fire in Chicago that he had offered Park the two-year contract, and he is sure that Park will accept the offer.

Park has been negotiating a renewal of his contract with Manchester United that is set to expire in June next year.

The South Korean soccer player has been successful in two recent pre-season matches in the U.S., scoring two goals and making one assist.
