A South Korean high school student has become the first Asian to win the gold medal at the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Youth Sailing World Championship 2011.
South Korea's Cho Won-woo beat France’s Louis Giard to win the RS:X Boys division at the 41st youth championship held in Zadar, Croatia. Cho outscored Giard by five points to take the gold.
