The central regions are expected to see heavy rains continue late Tuesday as seasonal fronts gather strength in the area.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast that Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and the northern parts of Gangwon Province will see between 50 and 250 millimeters of rain through Wednesday. The Chungcheong provinces, North Jeolla Province and southern parts of Gangwon Province are projected to witness between 30 and 80 millimeters of rainfall.

The central region is expected to be under the influence of monsoon rains until Saturday.
