Heavy rain advisories have been issued in Seoul, Chungcheong and southern Gyeonggi provinces as the monsoon front moves north up the Korean Peninsula.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts over 30 millimeters of rain per hour accompanied by strong winds for Seoul and the central region Monday afternoon.
