Committee Leaves for Togo for Pyeongchang's Bid Presentation

Members of the nation’s bid committee for the 2018 Winter Olympics have left for Togo to attend the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA).

Bidding committee chairman Jo Yang-ho, figure skater Kim Yu-na, and other committee members on Monday left for the African country to give Pyeongchang’s Olympic bid presentation to the general assembly.

The ANOCA conference will be the committees last chance to win support of African members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The IOC will vote to determine the host city at its General Assembly next month in Durban, South Africa.
