Now, Busan Asiad updates....

South Korean contingent is almost certain to secure the second place by adding 6 more gold medals in Taekwondo and modern pentathlon Friday, three days before the closure of the 14th Asian Games in Busan.

In men's 58 kg Taekwon do event, Kim Dae-ryung easily won the gold by defeating Kodadad of Iran by a score of 12 to 2. Three more golds were added in women's 51 and 67 kg class, and men's 78 kg class. They were Yim Soo-jung, Kim Soo-ok and Oh Sun-taek.

In modern pentathlon men's team event, South Korea outran China to win the gold by earning 22,152 points.

In men's individual pentathlon category, Kim Mi-sop and Yang Joon-ho earned the gold and silver, respectively.

In men's tennis doubles, the team of Yi Hyong-taek and Chung Hee-seok garnered the silver medal.

In women's hockey finals, South Korea suffered loss in the match against China with a score of two to one.

In other competition, South Korea secured the silver in both men's volleyball and men's handball by defeating Japan and Qatar, respectively and in light heavy weight class boxing, Choi Ki-soo also secured the silver medal.
