Pyeongchang to Hold Presentation at IOC Technical Briefing

South Korea’s bid committee for the 2018 Winter Olympics is set to brief International Olympic Committee (IOC) members on its bid to host the winter sports event.

The IOC’s technical briefing will begin at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Korean time, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Germany’s Munich and France’s Annecy, which are competing against South Korea’s Pyeongchang, will also brief the committee on their proposals.

Each city will have 90 minutes to give presentations before they’re asked questions by committee members. The briefings and the question and answer sessions will be held in private. Munich will first give its presentation followed by Annecy and then Pyeongchang.

The IOC will hold a general assembly on July sixth in Durban, South Africa to choose the host of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
