S. Korean women beat China to seize gold in table tennis doubles

South Korea wins four gold medals on the tenth day of the games. The nation's women's doubles won a hard-earned gold in table tennis, downing archrival China four to three. Undiscouraged by two straight losses, Lee Eun-sil and Seok Eun-mi won the remaining four seats against Chinese opponents Zhang Yining and Li Nan. In men's doubles table tennis, South Korea grabbed another gold and silver. Lee Chul-seung and Ryu Seung-min beat fellow country men Kim Tae-soo and Oh Sang-eun by four to three. In the equestrian matches on Tuesday, South Korea's team of Suh Jung-gyun, Shin Chang-mu, Choi Jun-sang and Kim Jung-geun beat Japan's counterparts. South Korea's fourth gold medal came from Men's Madison Track Cycling race. A team of Cho Ho-sung and Suh Suk-gyu beat their rivals Japan and China. With 51 gold medals in medal tally, South Korea ranks second after China. Japan is placed third with 34 gold medals.
