South Korea has won a gold medal in women's bowling, confirming its second place in overall medal standing after China. A team of Kim Su-kyong, Cha Mi-jung, and Kim Yeo-jin recorded 3 thousand 8 hundred five points to beat their Taiwanese team.

Garnering four silver medals in shootings Sunday, South Korea was placed at second place in medal tally with 29 gold, 30 silver, and 42 bronze medals.

Korea's women's volleyball team defeated Japan in straight sets during the preliminary round in Gijang Gymnasium in the Busan Asian Games on Sunday.
