Kim Yu-na Tops Short Program in Moscow

Olympic champion figure skater Kim Yu-na took top honors in the short program at the 2011 World Figure Skating Championships in Moscow.

The South Korean figure skating star finished first on Friday with 65-point-91 points. Her performance featured the music from the ballet “Giselle.”

Japan’s Miki Ando finished second with 65-point-58 points.

Friday marked Kim’s first return to competition since the 2010 World Championships in March in Torino, Italy 13 months ago. Kim is scheduled to skate in the free skating event on Saturday.
