IOC Inspection of Pyeongchang Enters 2nd Day

An International Olympic Committee delegation is inspecting sports facilities in Pyeongchang for a second day as part of South Korea’s bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

Fourteen IOC inspectors conducted Thursday morning an on-site inspection of a ski jumping facility in Pyeongchang, which is equipped with a 125-meter course and a 98-meter course.

They also visited a snowboarding course at a nearby ski resort called Bokwang Phoenix Park.

Some 200 journalists covered the IOC delegation’s first outdoor evaluation of Pyeongchang’s sports facilities.
