Pyeongchang Committee Submits Bid File to IOC

Pyeongchang's bidding committee for the 2018 Winter Olympics has submitted its official bid documents to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The bidding committee, including Chairman Cho Yang-ho, visited the IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Monday and presented its Candidature File to the IOC's Head of Bid City Relations Jacqueline Barrett.

The 385-page document includes responses to questions the IOC has on 17 areas related to the hosting of the event.

Pyeongchang is competing against Germany’s Munich and France’s Annecy for the Olympic bid.

This is the third bid Pyeongchang has made for the Winter Olympics.
