Organizers of the 13th World Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea, have announced the criteria athletes must meet in order to participate in the event next August.

The criteria were set in consultation with the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF).

The athletes must satisfy the standards in their respective events in competitions held between October first of this year and August 15th of next year in order to compete.
