Figure skater Kim Yu-na has announced the musical selections for the programs she will perform at the world championships next year.

Her agency, All That Sports, says that Kim will perform her short program to music from the ballet "Giselle" and that her free-skating music will be an adaptation of traditional Korean melodies titled "Homage to Korea" and will include the folk song "Arirang."

She said that she agreed to include Arirang in her program as a way of returning the love and support she has received from the Korean people.

Kim’s choreographer, David Wilson, says that Kim’s free-skating program is her "love letter" to her native country.
