S.Korea Aims for Asian Games Gold in Hoops, Handball

South Korea is aiming for gold medals in basketball, handball and chess at the Guangzhou Asian Games on Friday, just one day before the closing ceremony.

The men's basketball team, led by coach Yu Jae-hak, is vying to win its first title in eight years when it goes head to head with China.

The men's handball team, meanwhile, will face Iran in the final.

Kim Deok-hyeon, who already won a gold medal in the men's long jump, is seeking another gold in the triple jump.

Park Jae-myoung and Jung Sang-jin will take part in the final in men's javelin.

South Korea is also hoping for golds in the men's and women's team weiqi and rhythmic gymnastics competitions.
