Nation Adds 3 Golds in Archery, Bowling and Baduk

The nation has added 3 gold medals in archery, bowling and baduk on the eleventh day of the Guangzhou Asian Games.

The men's archery team of Oh Jin-hyuk, Im Dong-hyun and Kim Woo-jin on Monday shot 221 points in the final to beat China by three points. The nation won a gold in the event for the eighth consecutive time in the Asian Games.

A team of five members also won a gold in men's bowling.

In men's individual bowling, Choi Yong-kyu won a silver and Choi Bok-eum garnered a bronze.

In fencing, the nation will aim for gold in the men's sabre and women's team foil.

Wrestler Lee Sae-yeol is also in search of the gold in the 84-kilogram event.

In athletics, Kim Kook-young and Im Hee-nam will play in the men's 100-meter event.

South Korea currently ranks second in the Games with 60 gold, 51 silver and 66 bronze medals.
