S.Korea Adds Gold in Cycling, Park Advances to Final

South Korea added a gold medal in cycling Tuesday, the fifth day of the Guangzhou Asian Games.

A team of Jang Sun-jae, Cho Ho-sung, Hwang In-hyeok and Park Sun-ho beat Hong Kong to defend their title in the four-kilometer men's team pursuit.

Swimmer Park Tae-hwan finished fifth in the preliminaries for the 400-meter freestyle and advanced to the final. He is aiming for his second gold in Guangzhou after winning the 200-meter freestyle on Sunday.

In judo, Beijing Olympic gold medalist Choi Min-ho advanced to the semifinals in the men's 60-kilogram division.

South Korea is currently ranked second with 19 gold, 14 silver and 19 bronze medals.
