The South Korean athletes at the Asian Games in Guangzhou held a flag-raising ceremony Wednesday for the competition that opens Friday.

South Korea has sent its largest team ever to the Asian Games this year, with some 13-hundred athletes scheduled to compete in 41 events.

During the ceremony, the South Korean squad vowed to finish no lower than second in the overall medal count for the fourth consecutive Asian Games.
