S.Korean Athletes Vow to Win 65 Golds at Asian Games

South Korean athletes who will compete in the upcoming Asian Games in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou have vowed to win a minimum of 65 gold medals during the event.

Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik and Korean Olympic Committee President Park Yong-sung visited the national training center in Taereung on Monday, where they asked the athletes to do their best during the competition.

Some one-thousand South Korean athletes will compete in 41 events during the Games.

Handball player Yoon Jong-sin will represent the Korean athletes in the opening ceremony.

The South Korean team left for Guangzhou on Tuesday morning.
