Korean Grand Prix Resumed after Rain Delay

The F1 Korean Grand Prix has restarted after a 50-minute delay because of poor conditions caused by rain after just two laps behind the safety car.

The race in Yeongam County, South Jeolla Province, will probably not go on to the full distance due to the delay as darkness will likely stop the competition. Should cars not complete at least 41 of the 55 laps, only half-points will be awarded.

The Associated Press quoted Ferrari's Fernando Alonso as complaining of the conditions before the red flag on his car-to-pit radio, saying the conditions were the worst he had ever driven in.

After the race resumed, pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull told his team that "it seems a little better than before but there is still a lot of water on the straight and a lot of spray."
