91st National Sports Festival Ends, Gyeonggi Finishes First

The 91st National Sports Festival has ended, with Gyeonggi Province finishing first for the ninth consecutive year.

In the seven-day festival held in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, Gyeonngi secured a combined 69-thousand-434 points to beat the host South Gyeongsang.

South Gyeongsang came in second this year, up three steps from a year ago.

The festival saw athletes break two new world records in archery and eight Korean records in swimming events.

The next festival will be held in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
