Park Chan-ho of the Pittsburgh Pirates has broken the U.S. Major League Baseball Record for most pitching wins by an Asian-born player.

He won the 124th game of his career Friday in a 5-1 win over the host Florida Marlins, surpassing the mark set by Hideo Nomo of Japan. Park made his U.S. debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1994 and his career mark is 124-98.

Eleven of his wins have come as a relief pitcher.

The win was also Park's fourth of the season.
