S.Korean Students Finish 2nd at Int'l Chemistry Olympiad

South Korea has taken second place at the 42nd International Chemistry Olympiad in Tokyo, Japan.

The team of South Korean high school students won three gold medals and one silver medal to rank second in the overall medal tally.

Each of the four students representing South Korea won medals during the event, which saw the participation of 267 students from 67 countries.

The feat is the most notable for South Korean high school students so far this year in terms of international academic competitions.
