South Korea will face Mexico Sunday evening in Dresden, Germany, in the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

The game is the first meeting in the tournament between those teams, though the regular national teams of the two countries have clashed three times before

South Korea is led by striker Ji So-yun (photo), who is tied for the tournament scoring lead with five goals and has been dubbed one of the tournament's brightest stars by FIFA. The team is 5-8 in the tournament since the biennial competition began in 2002.

North Korea lost in the quarterfinals to host Germany, 2-0. The North had won the 2006 tournament held in Russia.
