Argentina Interested in Korean Nuke Reactors

Argentina has expressed an interest in importing Korean nuclear power plants following a similar move by the Philippines.

The Knowledge Economy Ministry says the Argentine government has told the Korean Embassy in Buenos Aires that it has plans to add more nuclear reactors, and that Korea is one of the candidates to build them.

In addition, Mexican Energy Minister Kessel Martinez will visit Seoul for talks with the ministry on bilateral energy issues.

Seoul and Mexico City will also push for a memorandum of understanding on human exchanges in building power plants during Martinez's visit.
