S.Korea Named 'A Team to Watch' in 2014 World Cup

A sports Web site based in the U.S. says South Korea is among the 16 countries that are worth taking note of for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Bleacher Report noted Tuesday that South Korea advanced to the round of 16 for the first time on foreign soil during the recent World Cup that was held in South Africa. The report said that Team Korea, which has been consistent in gaining World Cup berths as of late, will await the 2014 event with confidence.

Other teams making it on the list include five-time World Cup winner Brazil as well as Germany, Ghana, Spain, Uruguay and Argentina.

The site also put North Korea on the list, saying the communist state should qualify for 2014 World Cup if it can build on its experience in the 2010 World Cup.
