The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) is forecasting that the nation will see more rain this July than normal.

KMA also predicts that the hot and humid summer weather that hits the Korean Peninsula each year won’t start until next month, following the northward movement of high pressure in the North Pacific.

The weather agency said that torrential rains will continue into August.
