S.Korea’s Choi Wins LPGA Title in Playoff

South Korea's Choi Na-yeon claimed her third LPGA victory at the Jami Farr Owens Corning Classic in Sylvania in the U.S. state of Ohio on Sunday.

Choi, who had held the lead for the first three days of the tournament, ended up in a playoff in the fourth round with fellow Koreans Kim In-kyung and Kim Song-hee and Korean-American Christina Kim.

The 23-year-old Choi trumped the three in the first playoff hole to win her third career LPGA title with a four-round 270.

Her victory is the fourth LPGA win this season by a South Korean.
