Team Korea to Return Home Tuesday

The national soccer team will return home Tuesday after being knocked out of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa by Uruguay.

Team Korea returned to its base camp in Rustenburg and rested for a day after coming up short against the South American team 2-1 during their battle for a spot in the quarterfinals.

The players will depart from Johannesburg on Monday afternoon and will arrive at Incheon International Airport at around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, where they will then disband and return to their respective teams.

Midfielder Kim Nam-il, however, will fly directly to his team in Moscow. Three Dutch coaches for the Korean team will also head directly to the Netherlands.
