Soccer Team Faces Nigeria Early Wed.

The national soccer team will play against Nigeria at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday Korea time for its final and critical group B match at the 2010 World Cup.

The team, led by coach Huh Jung-moo, held a last-minute practice in Durban, South Africa.

The team will fight Nigeria with the four-four-two tactic (four defenders, four midfielders, two forwards) used at the winning match against Greece.

The lineup will employ Park Chu-young and Yeom Ki-hun as the top two strikers, Park Ji-sung and Lee Chung-yong on the side wings, and Cha Du-ri for right defense.

South Korea is second in Group B with one win and a loss. For Korea to advance to the next round of 16, the team must beat Nigeria. The other Group B members, Greece and Argentina, will face each other at the same time as the Korea-Nigeria game.
