Soccer Team in Durban for Final Group Game

The national soccer team arrived in Durban, South Africa, Sunday for its final group match against Nigeria in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The game will start early Wednesday morning Korea Standard Time.

The South Koreans are ranked second in Group B with one win and one loss, but only a win over the Nigerian team can ensure Team Korea's advance into the second round.

Prior to the team's arrival in Durban, its administrative director and chef arrived early to prepare. Twenty boxes of training equipment were delivered from South Korea's base camp in Rustenburg.

The players took a chartered plane provided by FIFA and flew to Durban Sunday. They will hold their first practice at Princess Magogo Stadium Monday evening.

South Korea is scheduled to play Nigeria at 8:30 p.m. local time, having played its two previous group games in the early afternoon.
