Team Korea Arrives in Johannesburg

South Korea's national soccer team has arrived in Johannesburg for a match against Argentina.

After arriving in the South African city, head coach Huh Jung-moo told reporters that the Argentinean team has flaws that his team will do its best to exploit and win the match.

Korea's players have focused on improving their conditioning through physical and tactical training at a base camp in Rustenburg, South Africa, before moving to Johannesburg.

The players have used oxygen masks to help them adjust to Johannesburg’s altitude of 1,753 meters. Temperatures in the city dropped to three degrees Celsius with strong winds.

Team Korea will face off against Argentina in its second group stage match on Thursday night (Korea time) for a ticket into the round of 16.

South Korea beat Greece 2-0 in its first group stage match last week.
