Various events will be held in Seoul on Saturday as the national soccer team prepares to face off against Greece in Team Korea’s first match of the 2010 World Cup.

Seoul Metro said Thursday that it will set up a special stage to air the soccer match live at an art gallery near Gyeongbokgung Station on Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m., one hour before game time.

Seoul Children’s Grand Park, meanwhile, will hold a concert and will set up three large screens on which the match will be aired.

Cheering events will also be held starting at 4 p.m. at Seoul World Cup Stadium, where the national team advanced to the semifinals of the 2002 World Cup.
