South Korea’s Naro-1 space rocket has been moved to the launch pad for its scheduled launch into orbit Wednesday.

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute completed a technical checkup on the rocket and transported it to the launch pad on a special shock-proof vehicle Monday.

The rocket will be vertically erected after cables are connected for power and fuel supply.

A final checkup will be conducted on Tuesday and fuel and oxidants will be injected four hours prior to the Wednesday launch.

The government has opened a monitoring booth at the Naro Space Center for the countdown.
