Choo Shin-soo has hit his fifth and sixth homers of the season to break out of a hitting slump.

The Cleveland Indians outfielder hit two home runs in a 7-4 home loss to the Cincinnati Reds Friday. He went 3-4 at the plate with three RBIs.

Choo hit a solo homer in the bottom of the first inning, then hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the fifth to tie the score at four.

He had gone 3-17 in his last five games but raised his batting average to .300, the highest average in the order among regular Indians starters.
