KBS plans to broadcast the 2010 Colorful Daegu Pre-Championships Meeting, a track and field meet, live in 3-D for the first time on Wednesday.

For the benefit of those who do not have 3-D TVs, KBS will install a 620-inch 3-D LED screen in Yeouido Park and will provide free 3-D glasses for those who visit.

Before the competition begins, KBS will hold the world’s first live 3-D broadcast of a celebratory concert on a stage in front of the screen at 6 p.m.

Viewers with 3-D TVs in the Seoul area will be able to see the live broadcast on channel 66, a test broadcast channel.
