Pak Se-ri Wins 25th LPGA Title in Almost 3 Yrs

Golfer Pak Se-ri has claimed her 25th LPGA title and her first LPGA victory in almost three years.

The 33-year-old Pak birdied the third playoff hole at the 18th to defeat Brittany Lincicome in the Bell Micro LPGA Classic in Mobile, Alabama, on Sunday, U.S. time.

The LPGA called off the fourth round due to inclement weather, making the tournament a 54-hole event with a three-round playoff to determine the winner. Pak entered the sudden-death playoff tied with Lincicome and Suzann Pettersen at 13 under.

Pak’s last win was at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic in July 2007, the same year she became the first Asian to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
