Nat’l Soccer Squad to Begin Training Next Week

Members of South Korea’s national soccer team will be gathered on Monday to begin preparing for the 2010 South Africa World Cup, which is just one month away.

Led by coach Huh Jung-moo, the Korean squad will begin training at its center in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, in preparation for a friendly match with Ecuador on May 16th.

Huh will finalize his roster of 23 players and two or three alternates for the South Africa World Cup after the friendly.

The Korean team is scheduled to play another friendly match against Japan on May 22nd.
