A British newspaper says the German football club “Bayern Munich” is looking to purchase midfielder Park Ji-sung from Manchester United.

The British newspaper “Daily Mail” said in its online edition that the German football club is ready to pay seven million pounds, eleven-point-nine billion won, to buy the South Korean soccer player from Manchester.

The British football club is reportedly in the midst of an organizational rebuilding in preparation for next season.

But the prospects of a deal happening appear unlikely as Park said in a recent interview that he wants to complete his soccer career with the United. His contract with Manchester expires in 2012.
